On February 8, 2006, a classic Finnish metal album was released. It was Mokoma's Kuoleman laulukunnaat, an album that expanded the band's expression from the thrash metal of Kurimus (2003) and Tämän maailman ruhtinaan hovin (2004) to death metal, hardcore, and even grindcore.

Upon its release, the album accelerated Mokoma's rise to become the number one name in heavy metal music. Kuoleman laulukunnaat was both a critical and commercial success.
The album features songs that have become staples of Mokoma's live set over the years, such as Kuu saa valtansa auringolta and Valapatto.

Mokoma will return to the album on their spring tour, playing the album in its entirety. In addition, the band will perform a cross-section of their other work.
