Swedish-Danish metal giants Amaranthe are coming to Finland later this year.

Formed in 2008, Amaranthe have long been among the leading names in pop metal. The band made its breakthrough on the European metal scene with its debut album Amaranthe (2011) and quickly established itself as a distinctive trailblazer in the genre. Since then, the band—which blends melodic metal, electronic rock, and finely polished pop, the band has released several successful albums, including the Manifest album, which garnered over 130 million streams, and The Catalyst, released in 2024, which has been described as the band’s finest album. The album represented the culmination of 15 years of work and features 12 tracks full of ingenious hooks and genre-blending.

Amaranthe, one of the most empowering bands in metal music, is also known for its spectacular live performances. Opening acts for the Finnish shows will be the modern rock band Self Deception and the alternative metal band Ankor.
