PARIISIN KEVÄT GOES ON TOUR FOLLOWING NEW ALBUM RELEASE

Pariisin Kevät returns with their eighth studio album, "Sun yö on pian täällä," which was released on Friday, May 24, 2024.

According to Arto Tuunela, it felt important to find a balance between evolving and maintaining the essence of Pariisin Kevät while making the album. The band wanted to create a cohesive album experience, not just a collection of individual songs.

“My songs are sometimes more complete, sometimes just raw drafts that Artturi knows how to take in production and arrangement directions I would never think of. Our collaboration is fruitful in that, at its best, the process leads to something entirely new. This often requires a lot of time because we don't want to create anything mediocre or predictable. I hope the result is music that withstands the test of time, doesn't feel too disposable or pushy, but also not deliberately difficult,” Tuunela reflects.

Following the album's release, the band will embark on an extensive tour, performing at festivals throughout the summer and at clubs and arenas across Finland in October and November.
