
The popular Tavara-asema Second Hand is back! ⚡
Tavara-asema Second Hand event, on Saturday, May 17th, is a free-entry event where you can make wonderful discoveries of recycled high-quality clothes and vintage treasures. In the historical milieu of Tavara-asema, you can savor salty and sweet cafe products, and enjoy DJ music while making great finds. The event is hosted by wonderful actress, model, speaker, and lover of Finnish fashion and second-hand, Isadora Brown-Reini.

At the event, there will be a nonstop mosaic workshop using recycled materials. The workshop is led by Liekki Art House, a ceramic studio from Tampere. Bring a pot, tray, or other reasonably sized item and customize it for the summer! Liekki’s ceramists will provide the materials, tools, and guidance, so no prior experience in mosaic work is needed. The workshop is open throughout the event, and admission is free. You can find the workshop in the cabinet, which is accessed through the Tavara-asema's balcony. The workshop is made possible by Pirkanmaan Jätehuolto.
The event also features a panel discussion curated by Second Hand Tampere ry. In the panel discussion, fashion designer Tiina Rikala will share her experiences in vintage & second-hand entrepreneurship at Helga Neiti.
Selling spots are now for sale! Two price options are available, starting from 28,50€. The selling spot measures 1.5 x 1.5 meters and does not include a sales table or rack. You can bring your own clothing rack, blanket, or table to display the items for sale.
