The Hellacopters Celebrate Three Decades of Rock with a European Tour and New Album!


After thirty years of rock history, The Hellacopters are celebrating their 30th anniversary with the release of their ninth studio album, ‘Overdriver’, and a European tour. Kicking off in Stockholm on January 31, the band will play fourteen explosive shows across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Germany during the first half of 2025.

Swedish rock would not be the same without The Hellacopters. With their iconic, Grammy-winning debut album, ‘Supershitty to the Max’, the band made it clear that rock 'n' roll had found a new torchbearer — a role they’ve continued to uphold throughout their career. Their eighth studio album, ‘Eyes Of Oblivion’, released on April 1, 2022, marked their first full-length release since ‘Head Off’ in 2008, a temporary farewell album reissued by Nuclear Blast Records in October 2024. ‘Eyes Of Oblivion’ received enthusiastic praise from both fans and critics, reaching #1 on the Swedish charts, #3 in Germany, and #6 in Finland. The band celebrated their comeback with a performance alongside Iron Maiden in Gothenburg in July 2022 and later joined Ghost for shows in Germany in June 2023.


Keeping rock alive, The Hellacopters released not just one but two stellar versions of their classic album Grande Rock- originally from 1999 - on February 16, 2024. They then set their sights on new material, delivering the single ‘Stay With You’ in May 2024.


Today, the band drops another phenomenal single, ‘Leave A Mark’, offering a taste of ‘Overdriver’ — an album packed with massive guitar sound, brilliant solos, and explosive grooves, proving once again that The Hellacopters are still at the top of their game.
