METAL LEGEND W.A.S.P. TO FINLAND IN OCTOBER

The "Album ONE Alive!" world tour, celebrating the 40th anniversary of metal legend W.A.S.P.'s classic debut album, will reach Finland in October. The landmark album, which redefined the guidelines of its genre, will be performed in its entirety at Tavara-asema in Tampere on Sunday 19 October.

W.A.S.P.'s debut album, which made a shocking impact on a generation, was released in 1984. "It was an angry record made by an angry band. It was a record that not only reflected the attitude of the band members who made it, but also a record that reflected its time," says Blackie Lawless, the band's frontman. Iconic metal anthems such as I Wanna Be Somebody and L.O.V.E. Machine, taken from the album, have cemented the band's place in the heavy music canon.

Performing to sold-out audiences around the world, the line-up includes Blackie Lawless, bassist Mike Dudan, lead guitarist Doug Blair and drummer Aquiles Priester, who bring W.A.S.P.'s colourful history to life in an unforgettable live spectacle, performing their album, one of the best metal debuts of all time, from start to finish, one last time.
