There will be a varied programme including inspiring talks, yoga and the joy of exercise.
Looking for energy for your everyday life or inspiration to boost your wellbeing? Come and relax at the new VIBE wellbeing event on Saturday 18 January. The atmospheric Tavara-asema offers a varied programme to refresh your body and mind.
During the day you can take part in interesting workshops, invigorating exercise sessions and calming yoga. There will also be inspiring talks and discussions on wellbeing. The weekend will be energized by the first-ever brunch at the much-loved PSTA restaurant, which will fill plates with themed treats. The day will culminate in a wonderful one-hour daytime disco.
“It’s a brand new opening for Tavara-asema. We believe that many people are looking for inspiration and refreshment at the start of the year. VIBE provides tools for maintaining balance in the midst of hectic everyday life and offers a great opportunity for introspection – stopping for a day to focus on the most important thing of all, your own wellbeing,“ says Kristiina Paananen, Marketing and Sales Manager at Tavara-asema.
Local wellbeing experts strongly involved
You can attend the event alone, with a group of friends or even with colleagues – there will also be low-cost group tickets on sale. VIBE is for people of all ages interested in wellbeing.
Partners of the event include wellbeing experts from Pirkanmaa. Studio Vintti, known for its creativity, will organize a relaxed and fun yoga session with sparkling wine. Anu Niemi and Sanni Haahdenmaa-Vaine, founders of the Tampere-based business, will host the event. Participating in VIBE will also be, for example, Puhdistamo, a company from Lempäälä that produces drinks and wellness products, Varala, known as a pioneer in sports education, as well as GoGo, which offers a wide range of fitness experiences.
VIBE is coordinated by Tavara-asema’s Sales and Marketing Coordinator Neea Perkiö, who is implementing the new event as part of her studies in cultural production.
“In my thesis, I explore the importance of partnerships. It will be really interesting to see Tavara-asema, which normally focuses on live culture and music, provide a milieu for an innovative sports and wellbeing event,“ says Perkiö.
