Saimaa’s “Matka mielen ytimeen Vol. 2” Album Release Party at Tavara-asema

Saimaa, one of Finland’s most dazzling live bands, is releasing its new album Matka mielen ytimeen Vol. 2 on May 15 and heading out on an album release tour! The band will rock Tampere’s Tavara-asema on Friday, November 6.

Composed of top-notch musicians, Saimaa’s musical adventure is liberated and boundless. Although the band draws influences from classic rock, prog, folk, and even pop, the end result is an accessible and catchy whole. Led by Matti Mikkola, the band released two five-star albums (Vol. 6 & Vol. 7) within six months in 2024 and toured sold-out venues across Finland. Known as an electrifying live band, Saimaa’s Vol. 6 and Vol. 7 albums received exceptional acclaim from both the media and the public.
