Tuure Kilpeläinen and Knucklebone Oscar have put together a unique Soul & Blues special. The "Tough Ass Soul Brothers" show - a two-man powerhouse - is a gem firmly rooted in classic American tradition. No bullshit, no nonsense, only rock 'n' roll. You won’t experience this stuff at other gigs! It brings to mind the good old Blues Brothers. The duo entertains with a rock ’n’ roll attitude, swapping lead vocals, rocking out, and going wild. The setlist features the grooviest rockers and the jazziest ballads, though not the most obvious choices. Knucklebone Oscar’s stylish five-piece band pounds away in the background like a hardened sentence at Chicago’s Cook County Jail or Sörkka Prison in 1971.

The Soul brothers’ collaboration began in the spring of 2024 with the release of a joint single, resulting in a sizzling, distorted version of the 1970s soul hit “(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don’t Want to Be Right.” Things deepened even further last spring with the Jäbien’s mentor, the late Eero Raittinen, filling in for him on stage. Live, the act has found its own unique angle: an old-school style with wild urban sounds, yet powerfully traditional, not just a carbon copy. This entertainment extravaganza is a must-see!
