[KVÄÄR] is a unique and surprising series of events that invites the rainbow community and their allies to celebrate the joy and diversity of queer culture at Tavara-asema in Tampere. At the core of the events are besides queer-themes community, safety, memorable experiences and topical content. [KVÄÄR] events are open to all friends of rainbow culture.

When attending [KVÄÄR] events, please keep the following in mind:

✨ [KVÄÄR] is an event for LGBTIQ+ people and open to all friends of queer culture. Please make space for others and respect the event’s ideology.

✨ Do not take or share photos or videos of other attendees without their permission.

✨ The event follows safer space principles, just like all events at Tavara-asema. Any form of harassment or discrimination is not tolerated. If you witness inappropriate behavior, please inform a harassment contact person wearing a red badge or another member of the staff. You can read more about Tavara-asema’s safer space principles.

✨ [KVÄÄR] is a celebration of joy and empowerment—enjoy, have fun, and relax! Help create a positive experience for all attendees through your own actions.

Tavara-asema has gender-neutral restroom facilities. The events use strong audio and lighting effects.

[KVÄÄR] events are organized by Tampereen Kulttuurikamari Oy in collaboration with TAVATA ry. [KVÄÄR] is part of an ongoing effort to promote accessibility and inclusivity in the event and cultural sectors. The [KVÄÄR] team consists of company employees, members of TAVATA ry, and various partners. TAVATA ry is responsible for the event’s program content.
