The next event will be held on Friday January 16, 2026!

The first [KVÄÄR] of 2026 kicks off with an incredible [KVÄÄR] karaoke, where you can shine in the spotlight while performing your go-to karaoke anthem. Once the stage has been warmed up, the Mansedrag Collective arrives to electrify the audience!

The Mansedrag Collective is made up of drag artists from Tampere, whose aim is to make drag art more visible in the city. The collective was born at the [KVÄÄR] event at Tavara-asema in 2024 – and now they’re returning to the scene of the crime!

During the evening, the stage will feature: Kiukkupussy, Narri Koira, Boney Ämmä, Friday Mayhem, Gee Gee Van De Slay, Ellu Jallu Koskenkorva, mustelMILLA sekä Valdemar Conspiracy.

✨ [KVÄÄR] is an event for LGBTIQ+ people and open to all friends of queer culture. Please make space for others and respect the event’s ideology.

✨ Do not take or share photos or videos of other attendees without their permission.

✨ The event follows safer space principles, just like all events at Tavara-asema. Any form of harassment or discrimination is not tolerated. [KVÄÄR] is part of an ongoing effort to promote accessibility and inclusivity in the event and cultural sectors. The [KVÄÄR] team consists of company employees, members of TAVATA ry, and various partners. TAVATA ry is responsible for the event’s program content.
